Assembly of central gearboxes for trucks with very few operators. 13 product families with a vast number of configurations. The equipment needs to be built on a very small footprint. It requires precise inline measurement to enable shim selection.

Together with the client, SEJFO has developed a highly automated advanced assembly line comprising:
- Robotic assembly of housings, bearings, and pinions.
- Electric servo presses, up to 20 tons.
- Automatic tool changers in presses for upper and lower punches.
- Automatic screwdriving station.
- Inline measurement of bearings with a coordinate measuring machine, Hexagon.
- Inline measurement of housings with a coordinate measuring machine, Hexagon.
- Special measuring machine for pinions, Sylvac.
- Special measuring machine for bearings under pressure.
- Shim measurement.
- 2 ABB robots for product handling.
- 2 UR robots for bearing handling.
- 1 Epson SCARA robot for product pallet setting.
- 1 handling portal for pinions.
- Conveyor system with product-adapted pallets.
- Automatic greasing.
- Automatic Loctite handling.

- Vision verification of sealing.
