On- and Offloading of Vials

Need

The customer was in need of two robotized cells for loading and offloading vials before and after the autoclave process. Both for a faster production speed, and for ergonomic reasons since the trays can get very heavy.

Solution

The solution were cells with small footprints of roughly 3x3 meters that would fit in the customer's already cramped factory, Here an IRB 4600 moves trays between racks and the pusher machines.

The feed to the pusher goes through a modular vision box where the indexing wheel and walls can easily be changed and replaced depending on product size.
